Alejandro Jesรบs Trueba Carranza is a Mexican engineer and specialist in soil and water conservation, with more than four decades of experience leading projects in water-resource management, rainwater harvesting and rainfall-enhancement technologies. A pioneer in the development of cloud-modification methodologies for water security, agriculture and climate resilience, he has designed and implemented natural resource conservation and rural-development programs across diverse regions and watersheds. His career combines scientific research, technological innovation and extensiveย field experience. Through this work, he has contributed to the development of practical solutions for increasing water availability, supporting agricultural productivity, mitigating drought and strengthening the resilience of communities
and ecosystems. Alejandro is a recipient of Mexicoโs National Award for a Masterโs Thesis in Agricultural Sciences and the author of 28 technical and scientific publications. His contributions have meaningfully advanced sustainable agriculture and integrated water management in Mexico.
